Daraasad MIT: AI waa in ka badan 10 boqolkiiba inay waxyeello halis ah u geysato aadanaha
Daraasad cusub oo sameeyay Machadka Teknolojiyadda ee Massachusetts (MIT) waxay sheegtay in in ka badan kala bar dadka adduunka ay ka baqayaan sirdoonka macmalka ah (AI), halkii suurtagalnimada waxyeello halis ah laga qiyaasayo ay gaaraysaa 10 boqolkiiba.
Cabsida dadka iyo koritaanka walaaca
Daraasadda MIT waxay muujisay in tirada dadka u arka AI inay tahay wax walaac leh ay sanadkii 2022 ka 39 boqolkiiba kor uga kacday ilaa 52 boqolkiiba sanadkii 2025, halkii dadka soo dhaweynaya ay u dhaxaysa 53 ilaa 54 boqolkiiba.
Si kastaba ha ahaatee, walaaca sii kordhaya ee dadweynaha ayaan horseedin dejinta xayiraado ku filan oo ka dhan ah horumarinta AI, sababtoo ah dadka go'aannada gaara ay dan gaar ah ka leeyihiin tignoolajiyaddan.
Masiibooyinka suurtagalka ah iyo khatarta shaqo la'aanta
Cilmi-baarayaashu waxay diyaariyeen liis ka kooban 24 dhacdo oo suurtagal ah, waxayna qiimeeyeen heerka ay dhacdo kastaa ku noqon karto musiibo marka la gaaro sannadka 2030-ka, taasoo macnaheedu noqon karo dhimashada in ka badan hal milyan oo qof ama khasaaro dhaqaale oo ka badan 100 bilyan oo doolar.
Shaqo la'aanta baaxadda leh, oo ka mid ah cabsida ugu weyn ee la xiriirta AI, ayaa kaalinta afraad kaga jirta liiska waxyeellooyinka suurtagalka ah ee ay keento sirdoonka macmalka ah.
Saamaynta AI ee qaybaha dhaqaalaha
Khubaradu waxay qiimeeyeen heerka khatarta 14 qaybood oo dhaqaale, halkii natiijooyinka ugu xun waxaa laga diiwaan geliyay waaxda tignoolajiyada macluumaadka iyo amniga qaranka, iyadoo AI hadda ma laha awood ay waxyeello weyn ugu geysato meelaha aan si weyn loo isticmaalin tignoolajiyada.
Waaxda hudheelada iyo makhaayadaha, beeraha, wax soo saarka warshadaha, iyo sidoo kale dhaqanka iyo madadaalada ayaa u muuqda inay ka mid yihiin qaybaha aysan si weyn u saameyn AI.
A new study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) finds that more than half of the world's population now fears artificial intelligence, and experts warn that without proper regulation, AI could cause catastrophic harm to humanity by 2030.
The Scale of Public Fear
According to the research, over 52 percent of people now view AI as a cause for concern, up from 39 percent in 2022, while the proportion of those who welcome AI's development has remained stable between 53 and 54 percent. This growing anxiety reflects a broader global unease about the pace of technological change and its potential consequences for society.
The study, conducted by researchers at MIT, one of the world's leading technology universities, identified 24 plausible scenarios that could unfold by 2030. Each scenario was evaluated for the likelihood of becoming a disaster, with experts estimating that the probability of AI causing serious harm is approximately 10 percent under current conditions.
Potential Catastrophic Outcomes
The scenarios outlined in the report include extreme outcomes such as the death of more than one million people or economic losses exceeding 100 billion dollars. Experts also flagged risks to the foundations of democracy, the erosion of personal privacy, and the potential for AI to develop self-awareness, which would represent a major security threat.
Massive job displacement ranked fourth among the possible harms AI could inflict. The most severe risks were recorded in the technology, information, and national security sectors, where AI systems could be exploited for cyberattacks, the creation of advanced weapons, or the manipulation of public opinion and political processes.
Uneven Impact Across Sectors
The study assessed the threat level across 14 economic sectors, finding that AI currently lacks the capability to cause significant harm in areas where technology is not widely used. Sectors such as hospitality, restaurants, agriculture, manufacturing, and the arts and entertainment appear to be among the least affected by AI's disruptive potential.
However, the financial sector faces particular challenges, as AI could make combating fraud and market manipulation increasingly difficult. Meanwhile, the ongoing debate between major AI companies like Anthropic and OpenAI has intensified concerns about the safety and governance of artificial intelligence systems worldwide.
