Maxx Crosby iyo Kirk Cousins oo isku dhacay kulankii tababarada ee Raiders
Dhacdada ka dhacday xerada tababarada ee Jimceyntii iyo falcelinta tababaraha iyo saaxiibada kooxda
Kulankii sideedaad ee xerada tababarada ee kooxda Raiders ee Jimceyntii, Maxx Crosby ayaa laba jeer ku dhuftay Kirk Cousins. Cousins, oo ah ciyaaryahan 15 sano khibrad leh, ayaa wajiga Crosby galay oo maaliyaha u qabtay ka dib dharbaaxadii labaad.
Dhacdada xerada iyo falcelinta tababaraha
Intii lagu jiray xilligii kooxda, Crosby ayaa labo jeer taabtay Cousins, taas oo keentay in uu Cousins uu wajiga Crosby u tago oo uu maaliyaha qabto isagoo ereyo isweydaarsanaya ka hor inta aan la kala saarin. Tani waxay ahayd mid ka mid ah isku dhacyadii maalintaas ka dhacay.
Tababaraha Klint Kubiak wuxuu sheegay inay qayb ka tahay xerada tababarada, laakiin uu rabo in ciyaartoydu caqli isticmaalaan marka xaaladahaasi yimaadaan. Wuxuu yiri: "Those are two leaders on our team going at it. Obviously, fighting in a game [or] you throw a punch in a game, you are out of the game. So we got to be smart.".
Aragtida ciyaartoyda iyo isku dhacyo kale
Michael Mayer, oo ah tight end, wuxuu sheegay inuu jecel yahay sida Cousins u leeyahay xamaasaddaas, gaar ahaan isagoo ah quarterback-ka bilowga ah. Wuxuu yiri: "You want him to defend your team. He's always had [that edge] since the first day I met him when he came in here".
Isku dhac kale ayaa dhacay Jimceyntii markii Jonah Laulu, oo ah difaac, uu feer ku dhuftay Caleb Rogers, oo ah right guard sannadkiisa labaad. Mayer wuxuu yiri: "It's energy, man. We don't want to be throwing punches, but I think on any padded day of camp there's going to be some [scuffles]".
Taariikhda Crosby iyo digniinta xerada
Ka hor inta aanay xerada tababarada bilaabmin, Crosby wuxuu sheegay in shaqaalaha tababaruhu ay ka digeen inuu taabto quarterback-ka. Crosby wuxuu ahaa mid xamaasad badan tan iyo kulliyadda, iyadoo tababaraha Eastern Michigan Chris Creighton uu marar ka saaray tababarada sababtoo ah uu aad ugu gardarro badnaa.
Crosby wuxuu xilligii bilowga xerada tababarada yiri: "When you get out there and bullets are flying, I'm not thinking about not finishing the play. That's just not in my nature. That's something I've been dealing with my whole career. It's not easy." Tani waxay muujinaysaa dabeecaddiisa ciyaarta.
Tensions flared at the Las Vegas Raiders' eighth training camp session on Friday when defensive end Maxx Crosby collided with quarterback Kirk Cousins, prompting a heated exchange between the two veteran leaders.
Crosby Hits Cousins Twice, Sparking Confrontation
During the team period of Friday's practice, Crosby made contact with Cousins on two separate occasions. After the second hit, Cousins stepped up to Crosby's face and grabbed the All-Pro defensive end's jersey as both men exchanged words before the altercation was broken up.
Crosby acknowledged that the coaching staff had warned him about touching the quarterback ahead of camp, noting that his aggressive nature has been a constant throughout his career. He explained that when bullets are flying, he is not thinking about holding back.
Coach Kubiak Emphasizes Smart Behavior
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak addressed the incident, stating that while it is part of camp, players must remain smart in such situations. He stressed that fighting in a game or throwing a punch would result in immediate removal from the field.
Tight end Michael Mayer praised Cousins for having that edge, especially as the starting quarterback. He noted that Cousins has always had that intensity since the first day he met him when he arrived at the team.
More Scuffles Emerge During Camp
The Crosby-Cousins incident was not the only physical altercation to occur on Friday. Earlier in practice, defensive lineman Jonah Laulu punched second-year right guard Caleb Rogers, adding to the day's volatile atmosphere.
Mayer dismissed the idea of avoiding all physical contact, saying that on any padded day of camp, some scuffles are expected. He described the energy as something the team does not want to be throwing punches, but that is simply part of the process.
