Shirkaddu waxaa la aasaasay sanadkii 2025 waxaana aasaasay Hannia Zia iyo Joana Ferreira.
Asalka iyo dhibaatada shirkaddu xallinayso
Aasaasayaasha Cascade waxay markhaati u ahaayeen sida ay u adag tahay shirkadaha dhismaha inay si joogto ah shaqo u helaan. Hooyada Joana Ferreira waxay ka shaqaysay shirkad agabka dhismaha iibiysa, adeerkeedna wuxuu ku dhisay guryo waaweyn Bariga Dhexe.
Hannia Zia ayaa xusuusisay markii aabbaheed uu Pakistan ku dayacay shirkad dhisme: 'Wuxuu ku guul daraystay inuu mashruucyo ku filan helo si uu nafisi u helo.' Aabbaheed ma helin mashruucyo ku filan.
Sida barnaamijku u shaqeeyo iyo qandaraasyada la saxeexay
Cascade waxay adeegsataa qalabyo AI ah si ay u go'aamiso mashruucyada shirkaddu fursad u leedahay inay ku guuleysato. Waxay saadaalinaysaa mashruucyada imanaya iyadoo isticmaashaa calaamado laga helay gobollada Maraykanka, degmooyinka, qandaraasyada gaarka ah iyo wakaaladaha federaalka.
Shirkaddu waxay qandaraasyo la saxeexatay shirkadaha dhisey garoomada JFK iyo La Guardia, huteelada Four Seasons iyo xarumaha xogta qaar. Waxay la socotaa horumariyayaashii deeqda ku guuleystay markii hore si loo saadaaliyo kuwa cusub.
Maalgelinta iyo qorshayaasha mustaqbalka
Lacagta cusub Cascade waxay u isticmaali doontaa suuqa tagidda, dhigista dhacdooyinka warshadaha iyo shaqaaleysiinta injineero dheeraad ah. Ferreira ayaa ku doodaysa in Cascade ay ka AI-gan ahayd GovWin IQ iyo ConstructConnect.
Macmiil kastaa markuu qandaraas ku guuleysto wuxuu dhiibtaa jawaab celin, nidaamkuna wuu sii caqli badan yahay. Cascade waxay damacadaysaa inay dhisato khariidad dhammaystiran oo AI-du mariso si ay u saadaaliso mashruucyada ugu fiican.
New AI platform helps architecture, engineering and construction companies identify and win contracts
Cascade, a startup launched in 2025, has raised a $3.5 million seed round from Andreessen Horowitz Speedrun, Ada Ventures, and Snowball VC to build a platform helping architecture, engineering, and construction firms find and win projects. Founders Hannia Zia and Joana Ferreira lead the company.
Founders' background and market need
Cascade was created after its founders witnessed the difficulty construction businesses face in securing steady work. Joana Ferreira's mother worked in a company that sold materials to construction companies, and her uncle built mansions in the Middle East, showing skilled builders lacked access to tools for more work.
Hannia Zia's father tried starting a construction business in Pakistan but could not get enough projects to sustain it. Zia described finding projects as a 'constant treasure hunt' across many government portals, highlighting the fragmented process firms must navigate to locate opportunities.
Platform operation and early traction
Cascade uses AI tools to determine which projects a firm can best win and predicts upcoming work using signals from U.S. states, local districts, private contracts, and federal agencies. It monitors past grant winners to forecast new ones, advising clients on likely developers to approach.
The founders applied to a16z's Speedrun last September and signed contracts with firms that built JFK and La Guardia airports, Four Seasons hotels, and data centers. Zia said Speedrun gave 'visibility and a stamp of approval to close big deals' for the startup.
Funding use and competitive stance
Cascade will use the fresh cash to go to market, host industry events, and hire more engineers. Other startups in this area include GovWin IQ and ConstructConnect, but Ferreira argues Cascade is a bit more AI-native than these platforms in its approach.
Every customer win provides feedback that makes the system smarter, and Cascade aims to build a complete industry map its AI can traverse to predict best projects. Ferreira said the goal is a system that continuously improves lead prediction for each customer over time.
