Akhriyaasha iyo Xisaabta: Natiijooyinka PISA 2025 waxay muujiyeen in dhalinyarada ay ka baxayaan aqoon muhiim ah
Andreas Schleicher, hoggaamiyaha imtixaanka PISA ee ururka OECD, wuxuu sheegay in natiijooyinka 2025-ka ay muujiyeen in dhalinyarada ay ka baxayaan aqoon muhiim ah, iyadoo la sheegay in 15-sano jirrada ka qaybqaatay 91 dal ay ku guuleysteen natiijooyin hoose oo kooban.
Natiijooyinka imtixaanka iyo waxa ka dambeeya
Imtixaanka PISA 2025-ka, kaas oo 15-sano jirrada ka qaybqaatay 91 dal, wuxuu muujiyay in akhriyaasha iyo xisaabta ay gaareen heerar hoose oo kooban. Schleicher wuxuu sheegay in dhalinyarada ay ka baxayaan aqoon muhiim ah, gaar ahaan kheyraadka awoodda in la eego macluumaadka si toos ah.
Waxaa jira xiriir u dhexeeya isticmaalka AI iyo natiijooyinka imtixaanka, iyadoo ardayda aan isticmaalin AI ay ku fiicnaayeen. Schleicher wuxuu sheegay in AI ay ka baxday awoodda in la eego macluumaadka, taasoo keentay in dhalinyarada ay ka baxaan aqoon muhiim ah.
Dalalka ugu sarreeya iyo kuwa hooseeya
Estonia waxay ku guuleysatay meesha ugu sarreeya Yurub iyo lix dal oo kale, iyadoo ardaydeedu ay ku fiicnaayeen akhriyaasha, xisaabta iyo sayniska. Schleicher wuxuu sheegay in dalalka Yurub ee waaweyn, sida Faransiiska, Jarmalka iyo Spain, ay ku yaraan yihiin natiijooyinka.
Waxaa jira dalal kale oo Yurub ah oo natiijooyinkoodu hooseeyaan, iyadoo Schleicher uu sheegay in dalalka Yurub ee waaweyn ay ku yaraan yihiin natiijooyinka, halka dalalka Yurub ee yaryar ay ku fiicnaayeen.
Talooyinka waalidiinta iyo macallimiinta
Schleicher wuxuu sheegay in waalidiinta ay muhiim u yihiin inay ardayda u sheegaan in waxbarashadu muhiim u tahay, iyadoo ardayda waalidiintoodu u weydiiyaan sida maalin walba ay u baxeen ay ku fiicnaayeen imtixaanka. Wuxuu sheegay in macallimiintu ay noqdaan macallimiin iyo macalin.
Waxaa jira inay jiraan dalal Yurub ah oo waalidiinta u muhiim u ah inay ardayda u sheegaan in waxbarashadu muhiim u tahay, iyadoo Schleicher uu sheegay in macallimiintu ay noqdaan macallimiin iyo macalin.
Andreas Schleicher, the architect of the OECD's PISA assessments, has sounded the alarm over a dramatic fall in student performance across Europe, attributing the decline to unchecked AI use and a sharp drop in parental engagement with education.
Record-Low Scores and the AI Problem
The 2025 PISA results, taken by 15-year-olds across 91 countries, revealed that reading and mathematics scores have reached record lows in OECD nations. Schleicher told Euronews that young people are losing essential skills, particularly the ability to critically reflect on information and engage with complex texts.
He warned that AI tools, which are not designed to make us think harder, are hollowing out the very capabilities students need. The data supports this: students who did not use AI during the assessment tended to perform better than their peers who relied on the technology.
Europe's Widening Divide
The assessment exposed a stark divide within Europe. Pupils' scores in seven EU countries were significantly above the OECD average, while in 13 member states they were considerably below it. The biggest declines were recorded in large European countries like France, Germany, and Spain.
In contrast, Estonia's students ranked first in Europe and in the global top ten in all three domains of the assessment. Schleicher described it as a clear example of a country engaging with the digital world in a cautious but very thoughtful and productive way.
The Role of Parents and Teachers
Schleicher stressed that parental interest in education in Europe has dramatically declined, noting that children whose parents ask them how their school day went are two school years ahead in their test results. He urged parents to show their children that what they are working on in school really matters to them.
For teachers, he argued that their role must expand from being a good instructor to being a great coach and mentor. However, he warned that in a Europe suffering from teacher shortages, the education system must give teachers more time to play that much more important role.
