Chelsea took an early lead through Morgan Rogers in the seventh minute, but Hull City's Mohamed Belloumi scored twice to put the visitors ahead at the break. The draw levelled the score in the 65th minute via João Pedro, but the match highlighted Chelsea's ongoing defensive struggles.
It is now 20 Premier League matches since Chelsea last kept a clean sheet, and the Blues have conceded nine goals across their first four top-flight games this season. Alonso admitted the defensive lapses are a concern and warned it will take time to correct the team's vulnerabilities.

Alonso said: 'I hope one day you appreciate a boring game and we win.' He added that Chelsea are attacking better than defending and stressed the need to hold together when leading.
