A Rollercoaster of Club History
After several months of planning and construction, the tifo featured a wooden rollercoaster track built from slats, plastic piping and fabric in front of the East Stand, with a cart carrying dummies that moved along the track via a push and pull system. The structure was designed to be rolled out in sections and was taken down just before kick-off.
The display highlighted key moments in Osnabruck's past, including a 1978 victory over Bayern Munich alongside a number of scandals and bitter defeats, encapsulating what fans describe as a rollercoaster ride full of ups and downs throughout the club's journey.
Interactive Spectacle and Match Result
The spectacle included a photo station where a flash captured the cart and instantly projected its image onto the right side of the grandstand, while fans recorded a special Funpark Bremer Brucke song to accompany the display, creating a party-like atmosphere before the match began.
