Lando Norris has emerged as McLaren's standout performer this season, winning two races and should have claimed a third in Miami. His teammate Oscar Piastri, however, has struggled to match that consistency, with only two moments of contention in Japan and Hungary.
The gap between the pair is now 55 points and three places in the standings. While Norris leads the qualifying head-to-head 12-4, the actual pace difference is minimal, with Norris averaging just 0.08 seconds faster per lap than Piastri.
