The Chairman of the Somali Bankers Association, Dr. Ahmed Khadar Abdi Jama, also highlighted the role of Somali banks in supporting investment and business growth, stressing the importance of an effective cooperation framework to facilitate financing for projects and investment opportunities.
Dialogue Reinforces Government-Business Ties
Discussions also focused on the priorities of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) and efforts to promote private sector-led economic growth.
The forum forms part of efforts to strengthen government-private sector cooperation, particularly between investment institutions, banks and Somali businesses.
