Ugu yaraan afar qof ayaa ku dhintay shil diyaarad helikobtar ah oo ka dhacay magaalada Rio de Janeiro ee Brazil maalintii Sabtida. Shilku wuxuu ku dhacay u dhow Vista Chinesa oo ku dhex taal Beerta Qaranka ee Tijuca, halkaas oo ay ku sugnaayeen duulimaad dalxiis.
Dhibbanayaasha iyo Sababta Safarka
Shilku wuxuu waday duuliye iyo saddex haween oo reer Kolombiya ah oo ah xubno ka tirsan isla qoys. Diana Paez, konsal garsoor ee Kolombiya ee Rio de Janeiro, ayaa AFP u sheegtay in saddexda haween ay qayb ka ahaayeen qoys u soo safray magaalada si ay u dabaaldegaan dhalashada 15-aad ee gabar.
Kooxda lix qof ah way kala go'een maadaama helikobtarku uu qaadi karay oo kaliya saddex qof. Ayeeyadii gabarta, eeddadiisii iyo ina-adeerkeed ayaa ku dhinay shilka.
Falcelinta Duqa Magaalada iyo Ammaanka
Duqa Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Cavaliere, ayaa ku baaqay kormarin dheeraad ah oo loo helo duullimaadyada helikobtar. Wuxuu soo jeediyay in duullimaadyadaas laga yaabo in la hakiyo 'todobaad ama laba' inta ay shuruudo cusub la dejino.
Cavaliere wuxuu yidhi: 'Waxaan midnimo u muujinaynaa qoysaska dhibbanayaasha shilka helikobtarka ee maanta ka dhacay u dhow Vista Chinesa gudaha Beerta Qaranka ee Tijuca.' Wuxuu ku daray in Xarunta Magaaladu ay ka codsatay ANAC tallaabo degdeg ah.
Dhacdooyin Kale oo la Mid ah
Lix qof ayaa dhawaan ku dhintay markii laba helikobtar ay isku dhaceen hawada sare ee magaalada. Dhacdadaas waxay ka dhacday agagaarka xaafadda Recreio dos Bandeirantes ee galbeedka 14-kii June.
Duullimaadyada helikobtar waa hawl caan ka ah dalxiisayaasha magaalada, laakiin ay korodhay welwelka ku saabsan badbaadada. Maamulka magaaladu wuxuu diyaar u yahay inuu ANAC ka caawiyo tillaabooyinka loo baahan yahay.
At least four people died in a helicopter crash on Saturday over Tijuca National Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, killing a pilot and three Colombian women who were part of the same family celebrating a girl's 15th birthday.
Family Celebrating a Birthday in the Sky
The victims were a pilot and three Colombian women who had travelled to Rio de Janeiro to mark a girl's 15th birthday, according to Diana Paez, the Colombian consul general in the city. The group of six had to split up because the helicopter could only carry three people at a time.
The girl's grandmother, aunt and cousin were among those on board and all perished in the crash. The Colombian consul told AFP that the family had gathered in the Brazilian city specifically for the celebration before the fatal flight.
Mayor Calls for Stricter Helicopter Safety Rules
Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere expressed his solidarity with the victims' families and urged Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency, ANAC, to intensify oversight of helicopter flights operating in the city. He stated that City Hall would place all its resources at ANAC's disposal to support any necessary safety measures.
Cavaliere suggested that helicopter flights could be suspended for a week or two while new safety protocols are put in place. He noted that the number of helicopter flights circulating in the city has been increasing, raising growing concerns about aviation safety in the area.
A Pattern of Helicopter Accidents in Rio
The crash near Vista Chinesa, a lookout point within Tijuca National Park, marks another tragic incident involving helicopters in Rio de Janeiro. Helicopter rides have become a popular tourist activity, allowing visitors to see landmarks such as Christ the Redeemer from above.
Just weeks earlier, on June 14, six people were killed when two helicopters collided in midair over the western suburb of Recreio dos Bandeirantes. The recent string of accidents has prompted renewed calls for tighter regulation of the rapidly growing helicopter tourism industry in the city.
