Madaxda xiriirka kubada cagta ee Yurub, Ameerika iyo Aasiya ayaa qoray warqad furan oo ka dhiidhiya guddoomiyaha FIFA
UEFA, CONCACAF iyo AFC waxay aaminsan yihiin in qorshaha uu Guddoomiyaha FIFA Gianni Infantino u haystay iibinta saamiga Koobka Adduunka uu ahaa 'jebinta aasaasiga ah ee kalsoonida' ee hay'adaha uu ururku u adeego. Infantino wuxuu wajahayaa caasinimo kadib guuldaradii qorshahaas.
Warqadda furan iyo saxiixayaasha
UEFA waxay maamushaa kubada cagta Yurub, CONCACAFna waxay isla markaas u adeegtaa Waqooyiga, Bartamaha Ameerika iyo Kariibiyaanka, halka AFC ay xukunto ciyaarta Aasiya. Warqadda furan waxaa si wada jir ah u saxiixay madaxda UEFA, AFC iyo CONCACAF oo ay weheliyaan saddex xoghaye guud.
Warqadda ayaa tidhi: 'Kubadda cagtu waa xiisaha ugu weyn ee la wadaago ee adduunka. Ma laha qof ama hay'ad. Waxay u taal tahay ciyaartoyda, taageerayaasha, naadiyada, ururada xubinnimada iyo hay'ad kasta oo loo aaminay ilaalinta mustaqbalkeeda'. Waxaa kale oo lagu daray: 'Awoodda kubadda had iyo jeer waa midnimadeeda. Waxaan ku baaqaynaa in midnimadaas la ixtiraamo hadda'.
Diidmada iyo cunaqabateynta soo socota
UEFA ayaa hore ugu hanjabtay inay qaadi doonto Koobka Adduunka iyo tartamada kale ee FIFA inkastoo hay'adda maamulka ay ka laabatay oo raaligelin ka bixisay qorshihii fashilmay. Ururka kubadda cagta Norway ayaa ku baaqay in Infantino iscasilo, halka Ururka Kubadda Cagta England uu kala noqday taageeradiisii dib-u-doorashada March soo socota.
Warqadda ayaa sheegtay: 'Ma aha dhaqanka ilaaliye ciyaarta, laakiin waa mid u arka in ciyaartu u jawaabto isaga'. Waxaa sidoo kale lagu xusay: 'Waa dhaqan aan ku habboonayn ilaaliye ciyaarta, ee mid aaminsan in ciyaartu u hoggaansanto'.
FIFA iyo shirka Morocco
Arbaco la soo dhaafay, FIFA ayaa sheegtay inay raaligelin ka bixisay khaladaadkii qorshihii fashilmay, laakiin shir kulmi ku qabsoomay Morocco ay shaqaalaha sare 'xaqiijin ku celiyeen taageeradooda buuxda' ee madaxtinimadiisa. Warqadda ayaa qortay in hal qof oo la doortay uun joogay shirkaas.
FIFA warqaddeeda ayaa xaqiijisay in aan xubno FIFA Council ah ama Member Associations la imaan: oo kaliya guddi maamul oo ka kooban shaqaale sare oo FIFA shaqaale ah ayaa joogay. Waxaa lagu critray: 'Waxay ula darsamaysaa fashilka xiriir, halka kubaddu ay aragtay fashilka xukun'.
UEFA, CONCACAF and the AFC have issued a joint open letter calling FIFA president Gianni Infantino's attempt to sell World Cup stakes a fundamental breach of trust with the institutions football's governing body serves.
Confederations Unite Against the Failed Plan
In an open letter revealed on Monday, the three continental confederations declared that Infantino's proposal to sell an interest in the World Cup to private equity investors was a profound failure of judgment. The letter was co-signed by UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin, AFC president Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, CONCACAF president Victor Montagliani and three general secretaries, underscoring the breadth of the revolt.
The open letter stated that football belongs to players, fans, clubs and member associations, not to any individual or institution. It added that when trust is broken through deception, the duty of leadership has been abandoned, and that the confederations are speaking collectively out of a sense of duty to the game they serve.
FIFA's Apology Falls Short of the Criticism
Last Wednesday, FIFA issued a statement apologising for errors made over the failed plan, while senior staff at a crisis meeting in Morocco reaffirmed their full support for Infantino's presidency. However, the open letter pointed out that FIFA's own letter confirmed only one elected official attended the meeting, with no FIFA Council members or Member Associations invited to participate.
The letter argued that FIFA treats the episode as a failure of communication, when what football witnessed was a failure of judgment. It urged FIFA to go further than acknowledging mistakes, insisting that there remains no recognition that attempting to sell an interest in the World Cup was a fundamental breach of trust with the very institutions FIFA exists to serve.
Broader Fallout for Infantino's Presidency
The revolt has extended beyond the confederations. Norway's soccer federation called for Infantino to step down, while the English Football Association has withdrawn its support for his re-election next March. The open letter described Infantino's conduct as that of someone who believes the game is answerable to him, rather than a custodian of the sport.
The letter concluded by calling for leadership that serves football, not seeks to command it, and urged the football family to honour the unity that has always been the strength of the sport. It warned that the failure to recognise the breach of trust would undermine the very foundations of world football's governance.
