Chicago hosts record All-Star crowd
The WNBA marked its 30th season with its first Chicago All-Star Game since 2022, drawing a record 19,783 fans at the United Center. The league previously used the smaller Wintrust Arena downtown, reflecting measurable growth in attendance and interest.

Malonga's dunk highlights first half
Dominique Malonga, a 6-foot-6 Seattle Storm center, threw down a right-handed jam with 6:24 left in the first half after a pass from Angel Reese. Reese celebrated and the pair exchanged a mid-air chest bump, and it was the first All-Star dunk since Sylvia Fowles in 2022.
Clark, 24, returned after missing last year's game with a groin injury, hitting from 33 and 37 feet for 11 points in 2½ minutes. She later scored off a no-look pass from rookie Olivia Miles, finishing 5-for-15 on threes with five assists for Team Spoon.
