Sawirka Dayax-gacmeedka: Meteor Ifaya oo Ka Muuqda Nebula-ga Weyn ee Lacerta
Meteor yar oo u muuqda sidii dhagax yar ayaa iftiimay intii lagu jiray sawir dheer oo nebula-ga laga qaaday
Sawir cusub oo laga qaaday Death Valley Observatories ee Nevada, USA ayaa muujinaya meteor si degdeg ah u soo muuqday oo ay markiiba liqday iftiinka nebula-ga cas ee Lacerta. Tani waxay dhacday intii lagu jiray soo-gaadhis dheer oo sawirka laga qaadayay bishii la soo dhaafay.
Meteor-ka iyo Iftiinka Uu Keeno
Meteor-ka ayaa si degdeg ah u soo muuqday oo ay markiiba liqday intii lagu jiray soo-gaadhis dheer oo nebula-ga weyn ee Lacerta laga qaadayay. Sida ku xusan warbixinta, "A bright meteor streak appeared and disappeared quickly during a long exposure of the Great Lacerta Nebula."
Jirka meteor-ka, oo u badan inuu yahay dhagax yar, ayaa iftiinkiisa qayb ahaan ka dhalaya kulaylka iyo kicinta hawoo ku xeeran oogada dhulka. Laakiin wuu uumaa oo waxa uu ka tagaa gaas iyo siigaa dabayshu qaaddo oo midabadoodu shaaca ka qaadaan waxa uu ka samaysan yahay.
Goobta Sawirka iyo Xilliga Ugu Habboon
Sawirkii la soo bandhigay waxaa laga qaaday bishii hore ee Death Valley Observatories ee Nevada, USA. Nebula-ga weyn ee Lacerta ayaa si dhuuban loogu arkay midab casaan ah oo u dhow bartamaha sawirka, sida caddayntu qabto.
Bisha aan hadda joogno waa mid gaar ah oo fiican daawashada meteor-ka. Warbixintu waxay tiraahdaa, "This month, though, is particularly good for seeing meteors." Sidoo kale, "The featured image was captured last month from Death Valley Observatories in Nevada, USA."
Roobka Meteor-ka iyo Dayaxa
Wakhtigan waxaa socda seddex roob oo meteor ah, in kastoo ay la tartamayaan iftiinka Dayax weyn oo gibbous ah. Sida lagu sheegay, "Presently there are three meteor showers ongoing, although they are currently competing for visibility with the glow of a bright gibbous Moon."
Roobka ugu firfircoon, Perseids, ayaa ahmid ugu mashquulka badan qiyaastii 10 maalmood guddoon, marka Dayaxu si weyn u dimo. Sannadkan, meesha ugu sarreysa ee Perseids waxay ku dhowdahay inay isku timaado Dayax cusub iyo, meelaha qaar, dayax-eclipse qorrax.
A brilliant meteor streak flashed across the frame during a long-exposure photograph of the Great Lacerta Nebula, captured last month from Death Valley Observatories in Nevada, USA. The fleeting event, recorded by NASA's APOD team, offers a rare glimpse of a small space rock burning up in Earth's atmosphere while a faint red nebula glows in the background.
A Pebble's Final Glow in Earth's Atmosphere
The meteoroid, likely no larger than a small pebble, produced its luminous trail by heating and exciting the surrounding air in Earth's atmosphere. As it burned, the object itself vaporized, releasing wind-blown gas and dust whose colors reveal clues about its composition.
This brief but spectacular display was immortalized in a single long-exposure image, where the meteor appeared and disappeared in a fraction of a second against the backdrop of deep space.
August Brings Three Meteor Showers and a Rare Eclipse
This month is particularly good for seeing meteors, with three meteor showers currently ongoing. However, their visibility is currently competing with the glow of a bright gibbous Moon that dominates the night sky.
The most active of these showers, the Perseids, will reach its peak in about 10 days, once the Moon has dimmed considerably. This year, the Perseids peak nearly coincides with not only a new Moon but, from some locations, one that totally eclipses the Sun.
The Great Lacerta Nebula: A Faint Red Glow
The Great Lacerta Nebula is seen faintly in red toward the center of the image, providing a striking contrast to the bright white streak of the vaporizing meteor.
The featured image was captured last month from Death Valley Observatories in Nevada, USA, offering an exceptional view of this celestial event.
