High-Level Inauguration Draws Regional Officials
The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President of the Supreme Court, and senior representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Justice, Interior, Public Works, Fisheries, and Health, alongside officials from the Puntland State Bank and members of the House of Representatives.
Local authorities from the Haylaan regional administration and the Badhan district government, together with community elders, also participated in the event, which was widely praised by all attendees for its significance to regional development.
New Government Buildings to Enhance Public Services
The newly inaugurated facilities include the Haylaan Regional Administration Office, the Ministry of Finance building, the Judiciary complex, the Puntland State Bank headquarters, and the Regional Command headquarters, all of which are expected to improve the quality and efficiency of government services.
These structures address a long-standing need expressed by residents of Haylaan region and are anticipated to streamline access to essential state services while strengthening the connection between government institutions and the local community.
Speaker Emphasizes Institutional Development and Public Trust
Speaker Cabdirisaaq Axmed Siciid, who previously laid the foundation stones for these projects, stated that today's event represents the fruition of the efforts undertaken to bring them to completion.
He stressed that upgrading government infrastructure is a cornerstone for building effective state institutions and boosting public confidence, while urging the new facilities to serve the people efficiently and safeguard state property.
